How It Works

Our application reads the `.json` metadata files included in your Google Takeout archive. It finds the "photoTakenTime" timestamp, location, and device information and uses these to update the said properties of the corresponding image or video file.

Instructions

  1. Download the application from the Microsoft Store using the link below.
  2. Run the installer.
  3. Open the application and select your main Google Takeout directory. The application will then scan all sub-folders and fix metadata in the media files automatically.
